The Actors Studio at Rooftop Lot 10, Nadi Baru Kuala Lumpur

Sebuah bandar tidak wajar kehilangan nyawanya. Jati diri budaya merupakan udara untuknya terus bernafas. Dengan terbinanya The Actors Studio at Rooftop Lot 10, segitiga emas Kuala Lumpur akan terus bernyawa.

Selepas penutupan mengejut operasi di Bangsar Shopping Centre, The Actors Studio bernyawa kembali. Pada hari Sabtu lalu berlangsung Malam Gala Pembukaan “The Actors Studio at Rooftop Lot 10”.

Bermula semalam, The Actors Studio at Rooftop Lot 10 membuka pintu menerima pengunjung.

Dicop sebagai “West End of Kuala Lumpur”, The Actors Studio at Rooftop Lot 10 dibuka secara percuma mulai 11 hingga 18 Oktober ini sebelum memulakan operasinya seperti biasa.

7th BOH Cameronian Arts Awards Nominees by Kakiseni

Tari : LALAK

Tari : LALAK
Panggung Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur
2 hingga 4 Disember 2005
Jam 8.30 malam

Syed Mustapha Syed Yasin
Karya Solo: Keliru
Biar apa yang kau katakana
Terhadap diriku ini
Di sini ku masih berdiri
Menahan pahitnya
Sebelum kau kenal
Hati nuraniku
Awaslah katamu………..!!!

Karya Kumpulan: OM BAK
Ia datang dan pergi
Pergi tak kembali
Menjadi satu misteri
Tragedi menyayat hati
Peristiwa silam berlaku kini
Pun sampai berulang lagi
Ku panjatkan doa dari Illahi

Jasni A.Hamid
Karya Solo: Argo-Gede

Karya Kumpulan: Episod Hanuman
Tubuh bagai kelonsong ditiup roh,
Di isi hati dengan dua rasa,
Yang kudus dan yang hodoh,
Keduanya saling mendominasi tiada toleransi,
Ada yang membunuh dan ada yang menumbuh,
Akal harus jadi tuan, biar hidup bersempadan

Hamid Chan
Karya Solo: BORNEO

Junainah M.Lojong
Karya Solo : Untitled I – Suara Tubuh

Karya Kumpulan: Untitled II - Wanita

Karya Kumpulan: Jadi Jawa Jawi

DANCE

Profound Grace menggondol dua anugerah melalui Best Soundscape Design dan Best Solo Performer. Manakala Re: Lady White Snake menggondol dua anugerah melalui Best Lighting Design dan Best Set Design. Dance of The Flourish menyerlah dengan Best Performance By A Group dan AWAS dengan Best Original Music.

The BOH Cameronian Arts Awards 2003Zulhuzaimy: Pemenang Best Ensemble Performance untuk Alang Rentak Seribu

MUSIC

BEST ORIGINAL COMPOSITION

Adeline Wong for Synclastic Illuminations performed at the MPO Forum, Producedby the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra

BEST CONCERT, WORLD MUSIC

Laras Gong- Rhythm in Bronze series, directed by Sunetra Fernando and Jillian Ooi, Produced by Five Arts Centre and The Actors Studio

BEST CONCERT, MUSICAL THEATRE

Love without End, Musical Direction by Khor Seng Chew, Artistic Direction by Pun Kai Loon, Produced by Dama Orchestra.

The BOH Cameronian Arts Awards 2003Nam Ron: Pengarah Aku Nak Jadi Bintang

THEATER

Kategori Teater mencipta beberapa kejutan. Kemenangan Anne James dalam ?Dinner For Two in the Best of Restaurants? agak mengejutkan.

English juga mengejutkan. Panel perjurian tentunya mempunyai sebab-sebab tertentu.

Of The Rings mengungguli setiap kategori teknikal.
